As a waiver program provider that is certified by the great state of Texas, Mena Health, Inc., is able to schedule and coordinate a number of health-related rehabilitation and therapy sessions for patients who are deemed eligible for our services. We work with people with intellectual and physical disabilities and offer respite care, nursing, occupational therapy, stage therapy and other service options.

 

Here is a rundown of the services with which we provide assistance:

 

We help provide nursing services for the injured, disabled, and elderly.

 

 

Whether you need regular dental checkups, orthodontics, or complicated oral surgery, we can help you find the assistance that you need

 

 

We offer speech therapy for young children who need assistance. And also provide it for any handicapped, injured, or disabled person who needs to regain their speech functions.

 

 

Occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities.

 

 

We help injured and disabled individuals find the physical therapy needed to help them get back on their feet.

 

 

Behavioral Support is a behavior management system used to understand what maintains an individual's challenging behavior. It uses reinforcement to help prevent inappropriate behavior.

 

 

When a person becomes disabled or is elderly they often need minor home modifications to help them function through everyday life. So we help provide them with the necessary improvements in the bedroom, bathroom, and other areas of their home or apartment.

 

 

We help you get the adaptive aids that you need to function through everyday life. Whether it be a hearing aid for people who are deaf or losing hearing, a seeing eye dog for the blind, a wheel chair for the disabled or injured going through physical therapy, or other.

 

 

Our dietary support ranges from helping people who suffer from an eating disorder (obesity, bulimia, etc.), to providing people with the right special diet or dietary aid to promote a more healthy lifestyle.

 

 

Supported living is a residential option where you are supported by a staff that coordinates and provides services to an individual still living in his or her own home, or the home of his or her natural or adoptive family members. The individual is provide with direct personal assistance with activities of daily live, coordination of community activities, and skills development to go towards a greater independence.

 

 

The provision of short-term accommodation in a facility outside the home in which a loved one may be placed. This provides temporary relief to those who are caring for family members, who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home.

 

 

Day Habilitation is person centered rehabilitation. It gives participants more choices over their daily activities. They have the opportunity to explore new areas of interest; become more involved within their communities; and develop communication and interpersonal skills

 

 

Mena Health Inc works closely with agencies who are willing to hire potential employees who are capable of working through handicap or disability.

 

 

Supervised Living is a center for group home visitation. Mena Health Inc. will eventually be opening a home of our own.

 

 

Offers support to those in need who are in foster care. Foster parenting available so children can choose their own foster family.
